Graduated from the Faculty of Acting at the Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw (2000). He has worked at the Polski Theatre in Wrocław, Wybrzeże Theatre in Gdańsk, and Stary Theatre in Kraków. Czarnik has joined the TR Warszawa company at the end of 2017. He has collaborated with Jan Klata (e.g., A. Strindberg’s To Damascus, 2013, S. Przybyszewska’s The Danton Case, 2008, H. based on W. Shakespeare, 2004) and Monika Strzępka and Paweł Demirski (e.g., Triumph of the Will, 2016, Battle of Warsaw 1920, 2013, the un-divine comedy. I’M TELLING GOD!, 2014, Dziady. Exhumation, (2007). Appeared in numerous feature films and television shows (i.a. Artists dir. M. Strzępka and P. Demirski, 2016, Son of Saul, dir. László Nemes, 2015, It Looks Pretty From a Distance dir. Wilhelm Sasnal, Anna Sasnal, 2011). His awards include the Bronze Medal for Merit to Culture – Gloria Artis in 2011, S. Wyspiański Theatre Award for the role of Krasiński/Count Henry in P Demirski’s the un-divine comedy. I’M TELLING GOD! dir. M. Strzępka in 2015, the Best Actor award in 2009 for the role of Robespierre in S. Przybyszewska’s The Danton Case dir. Jan Klata at the 19th “Kontakt” International Theatre Festival in Toruń, and the Grand Prix at 48th Kalisz Theatre Meetings-Performance Art Festival also for the role of Robespierre.
