About performance
Tremolo (from Italian: trembling) is a musical term denoting the rapid, repeated articulation of a single note, an interval, or a chord. It can be understood as a shiver of pleasure—or of fear.
Fear of being unable to meet society’s expectations around sexual pleasure.
Fear of embodying someone else’s expectations without even noticing.“Tremolo” is a performance about sexual pleasure. The director adopts the form of a performative lecture, exploring themes related to the female body, sexuality, and the mechanisms of self-evaluation. Grounding her research in scientific studies, she weaves them together with documentary stories of people who identify as women.

The performance contains nudity and presents stories of intimacy. Recommended for audiences aged 16 and over.
