Advisory Board

TR Warsaw has invited prominent artists and theatre-makers who support the development of theatre in the world to form the Advisory Board. 2025-2027 members of Board are:

Róise Goan

Róise Goan works as the Artistic Director and CEO of Dublin Theatre Festival. From Dublin, she previously worked as the artistic coordinator at VIERNULVIER in Ghent, Belgium and as artistic director and co-ceo of Artsadmin in London. She has worked variously as an artist, producer, programmer and dramaturg in the performing arts.

Róise studied Drama and Theatre at Trinity College Dublin and graduated in 2004. From 2008-2013 she was director of the Dublin Fringe Festival, where she founded Fringe Lab. Thereafter she founded The Local Group, making occasional contemporary performance projects in off-the-grid locations in Ireland, alongside freelance work as a programmer and consultant. In addition to her work in the performing arts, she has written for television, most notably for the TG4 series Aifric. She was appointed to the Arts Council of Ireland/An Chomhairle Ealaíon by Minister Catherine Martin in 2022 until her appointment at Dublin Theatre Festival in late 2024.

Travis Preston

Travis Preston is an internationally celebrated director of theater and opera. He is the Founding Artistic Director of CalArts Center for New Performance and the Executive Director of Three Friends/One Spirit. He is also a member of the Artistic Committee of the Wuzhen Theatre Festival in China.

His many productions include Macbeth with Stephen Dillane at the Almeida Theatre in London and the Sydney and Adelaide Festivals in Australia, Boris Godounov and Luigi Nono’s Al Gran Sole Carico D’Amore  at the Hamburg State Opera, the world premiere of Fantomas: Revenge of the Image at the Wuzhen Theatre Festival, Prometheus Bound with Ron Cephas Jones at the Getty Villa, The Master Builder at the Almeida Theater (with Stephen Dillane and Gemma Arterton), the world premiere of Augustine Machine by Marie Darrieussecq in Paris, as well as directing the opening gala performance of Daniel Libeskind’s Jewish Museum in Berlin.

Upcoming projects in 2025 include the world premiere of K City at the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre and the world premiere of the opera American Mother in Germany, composed by Charlotte Bray with a libretto by Colum McCann. Travis Preston was awarded Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French Minister of Culture for “contributions to the arts in France and throughout the world.”

Kristė Agota Savė

Kristė Agota Savė is a performing arts manager and producer based in Lithuania. Currently, she is Head of Artistic Management Department in Lithuanian National Drama Theatre, taking care not only of artistic planning, but also educational programmes and international cooperation (since 2017). At the same time she is Artistic Director of the Vilnius International Theatre Festival Sirenos (since 2019).

With her bachelor’s degree in languages and master’s in arts management, she started her career in performing arts by working at Arts Printing House / Menų spaustuvė, the first independent performing arts centre in Lithuania. She also co-founded an artistic NGO “Artscape” in 2011, which has since then been successfully working on the crossroads of social cohesion and arts.

In 2021 she was one of the founders of Teatro informacijos centras / Theatre Information Centre Lithuania, the mission of which is to represent the young generation of Lithuanian theatre artists internationally. Her other professional interests include working as a dramaturg and translator on occasional projects.
