Advisory Board

OPEN CALL Common LAB 2024 – One shared artistic journey

“Pieces of a Woman” at the Wiener Festwochen festival

’Pieces of a Woman’ is on the programme of the Wiener Festwochen. The Austrian premiere of Kornél Mundruczó’s play, produced with TR Warszawa on the basis of a script by Kata Wéber, will take place on 14 May. Further shows will take place from 15 – 18 May. This will be TR Warszawa’s return to the Festival programme after 18 years.

The rehearsals for “A kitten peed on my banner. Chronicles from the Donbass” has begun

We have had the first table rehearsal of the play „A kitten peed on my banner. Chronicles from Donbass’ directed by Aleksandra Poplawska, based on the text by Lena Lagushonkova. During the rehearsal, we learned about the cast, concepts sets, costumes and video projections. The premiere is scheduled for 28 April this year.

Next phase of the public procurement procedure for the appointment of a main constructor

Preview of the “niedoskonała utopia / an imperfect utopia” at Munich Kammerspiele

We begin rehearsals for the performance „imperfect utopia” directed by Noémi Ola Berkowitz. It is a co-production of TR Warszawa and Munich Kammerspiele. The Warsaw premiere of the play will take place next season – on 21 October 2022.

TR Warsaw cancels performances in Moscow and Voronezh

On account of the Russian military aggression in Ukraine, TR Warszawa cancels presentations of “PIECES OF A WOMAN” at the Golden Mask Festival in Moscow and “3STRS” at the International Platonov Arts Festival in Voronezh.

“Pieces of a Woman” in the programme of Internationaal Theater Amsterdam

„Pieces of a Woman” directed by Kornél Mundruczó in the programme of Internationaal Theater Amsterdam (ITA). The Dutch premiere of TR Warszawa’s production will take place on 18 March. The presentations of „Pieces of a Woman” will be the first trips of the show within TR ON TOUR 2022.

The Divine Comedy Awards

The jury of the 14th The Divine Comedy International Theater Festival in Krakow awarded prizes in the INFERNO and PARADISO competitions. The laureates of the festival include Sebastian Pawlak, co-creator of the play „ONKO” directed by Weronika Szczawińska from the TR Warsaw (INFERNO section), Wiktor Baginski, director of the play „HEART” from the TR Warsaw (PARDISO section), and the creators of the play „CLUB” directed by Weronika Szczawińska, a production of the Aleksander Zelwerowicz Theatre Academy in Warsaw co-produced with the TR Warsaw (PARDISO section).
