Performances with English subtitles
TR Warszawa is open to audiences who do not communicate in Polish. With foreign audiences in mind, in June and July we have planned two shows of our newest productions with English subtitles.
“3STRS“, directed by Luke Perceval, will be presented with English subtitles on June 27. The play, based on a drama by Anton Chekhov, deals with the theme of passing. The events of drama take place in a metaphorical nursing home, and the routine of three sisters is interrupted by recurring memories of years gone by. We also invite you to read an interview with Luke Perceval, in which he talks more about work on the play.
Buy a ticket to a performance with English subtitles“Onco” directed by Weronika Szczawińska is a very personal performance, telling about the experience of the director herself, who was diagnosed with breast cancer. Together with the playwright, Piotr Wawer jr., they ask the question: is there a good way to talk about the illness and death? The play, with English subtitles, will be presented on July 4th.
