Biography
Member of the ensemble of TR Warszawa from 2000 to 2007 and again since 2018. A graduate of the Ludwik Solski State Higher School of Theatre in Kraków (Wrocław branch, 2000).
She made her stage debut in 1998, performing the roles of Helenka and Cypojra in The Magician of Lublin by Isaac Bashevis Singer, directed by Jan Szurmiej at the Wrocław Operetta Theatre. She has appeared on many Polish stages, including the Polish Theatre in Wrocław, the Zygmunt Hübner Powszechny Theatre in Warsaw, the Dramatic Theatre in Warsaw, and the Wojciech Bogusławski Theatre in Kalisz.
She has received numerous awards for her acting performances, including for the role of Tanya in The Fourth Sister directed by Agnieszka Glińska at the Polish Theatre in Wrocław (2nd Festival of Contemporary Drama Presented Reality in Zabrze), for the role of Varya in The Cherry Orchard directed by Paweł Miśkiewicz at the same theatre (41st Kalisz Theatre Meetings), and for the role of the Little Metal Girl in We’re Fine Between Us directed by Grzegorz Jarzyna at TR Warszawa (9th National Festival of Contemporary Drama Presented Reality in Zabrze, 50th Kalisz Theatre Meetings, and the 46th Kontrapunkt Review of Small Form Theatres).
Since 2010, she has also worked as a theatre director. Her directing credits include Portnoy’s Complaint at Teatr Konsekwentny in Warsaw (co-directed with Adam Sajnuk), The General at IMKA Theatre in Warsaw (co-directed with Marek Kalita), Clara at the Zygmunt Hübner Powszechny Theatre, and Two Poor Romanians Speaking Polish at the Ludowy Theatre in Kraków.
She has also created numerous television and film roles. On the big screen, she has appeared in Down the Colourful Hill directed by Przemysław Wojcieszek (2004), My Australia directed by Ami Drozd (2011), The Invisible directed by Paweł Sala (2018), and Women of Mafia directed by Patryk Vega (2018).
