The band CocoRosie returned to Malta Festival 20 years after their first concert in Poland, presenting La Mort de la Mer, which had its world premiere in September 2025 at the Transart Festival in Bolzano.
Justyna Wasilewska speaks with Marta Malinowska about her collaboration with CocoRosie on the radio program „Tu Myśliwiecka 3/5/7” on Polish Radio Three: „It was a revelation for me, strangely intimate and familiar. Now—20 years later—I can work with them; I went to Paris, had rehearsals, and I will perform with them in Poznań in the same opera. (…) In moments like these, you think to yourself that reality can sometimes be wonderfully unpredictable and full of surprises. (…) Meeting CocoRosie on stage is the fulfillment of one of my greatest artistic dreams. For years, I have been inspired by the world they create—their sweetly dark stories that exist on the border between different worlds.”
