A member of TR Warszawa’s ensemble since 2017. She graduated from the Acting Department at the Ludwik Solski State Theatre School in Cracow in 2009. Kalita debuted in 2008 in the performance The Submerged Cathedral (Zatopiona Katedra) directed by Anna Augustynowicz (a diploma play produced by senior students of the Acting Department at the Ludwik Solski State Theatre School in Cracow, staged in Teatr Współczesny in Szczecin). For her role of Mrs Tarczycka in this play she was awarded the First Actor’s Prize at the 27th Drama Schools’ Festival in Lodz. She performed in the productions directed by Radosław Rychcik (Kalita received an honorable mention at the 44th Small Forms Theatre Review Kontrapunkt in Szczecin for her performance in Versus. In the Jungle of the Cities [Versus. W gęstwinie miast] staged in Teatr Nowy in Cracow), Paweł Miśkiewicz, Tomasz Bazan, Michał Kmiecik and Joanna Grabowiecka, among others. In 2011 she played the role of a general’s daughter in the performance General (Generał) directed by Aleksandra Popławska and Marek Kalita. The play, inspired by the life of Wojciech Jaruzelski, was first staged in IMKA theatre in Warsaw and later broadcasted as a TV Theatre performance.
